Our Gray Chlorinated Rubber Coats are formulated to protect floors, roofs, metals and equipments etc. These coatings offer outstanding properties such as exterior durability, high abrasion and water resistance. They help create tough, resistant and smooth surfaces. The chlorinated rubber coatings are developed for fast drying and excellent adhesion. These are appropriate for exterior as well as interior use. There is a right mix of chlorinated rubber, pigments, modifier and extenders. The rubber coatings are air dry and offer a strong creation. Directions:  

Stir before using, dynamic mixer for mixing two components absolutely. Cure rate will vary depending on temperature, ventilation, film thickness, thinner and humidity etc. The temperature of stir will be more than 15℃, otherwise add thinner for required viscosity after stir. Too much thinner will lead sag, thin film and slow cure rate; thinner should be added after blend. Applicable spreading rates may be reduced by 5% to 25% for wastage of various application conditions.

Application:

Steel - Dry and clean the surface coated with primer or intermediate paint. Remove oil, grease and other wastes from the surface. When overcoat on a film of two component such as epoxy paint, pavement quality of wharf for old film is taken, if more than the longest in accordance with the time. Don’t use at temperatures below -10℃, or above 40℃. Don’t use at relative humidity above 85%, or less than 3℃ above dew point. In lower than 0℃ construction, the coated surface should be free of snow & ice etc. Don’t apply if there is rain, snow, fog or strong wind.

Brush/Roller: Fit for small areas only. Apply uniform coats of the blended material to prepared surface. Thin if required, with up to 0 to 15% with X-3 Thinner. Extra coats may be necessary to achieve specified thickness.  
 
Conventional Spray: Thinning is not usually needed, however 0 to 15% of the Chlorinated Rubber Thinner X-3 can be used.  

Airless Spray:
Pump ratio is 32:1 / 45:1, and fluid tip is 0.43 to 0.48 mm.

Over Coating: Older coating should be tested for lifting through ‘X’ cut or crosshatch method. If it lifts, take out it. The surface should be free from oil, grease and other materials.

Clean Up: Using Chlorinated Rubber Thinner X-3.

Its consumption is dangerous or fatal. Avoid thinner inhalation, steams & spray mists. Use proper protective wears; avoid contacting it with skin and eyes. Use it with effective ventilation. This is a flammable product, all sources of ignition should be eliminated.
